We at GunsPictures.net love the responsible use of firearms and as such, we think everybody should follow the 4 rules of gun safety, as made popular by Jeff Cooper.
The 4 Gun Rules
- Every gun is always loaded.
Every time somebody hands you a gun or you pick one up, you assume that it is loaded, and you treat it as such.
- Never let the muzzle of a gun point at anything you do not want to destroy or kill.
Never point or play like you are going to aim your gun at someone.
- Finger off the trigger until you are ready to fire.
Following this rule prevents all manner of accidental discharges.
- Be absolutely sure of your target, and what is behind it.
Not knowing that something or somebody was there is NO EXCUSE.
Also, we are big supporters of the 2nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.
Our understanding of the amendment goes something like this: It’s important for non-military citizens to own guns so that we can remain a free nation. Because this is so important, the government should not take away or impede law abiding citizens from owning firearms.
Also, we think guns are awesome.
One more thing. GunsPictures.net does indeed have some advertising around the site. If you visit our advertisers or buy something from one of them, we may very well get a commission.
