I love .357s. And so should you. If you haven’t considered it, a revolver makes a great emergency gun because you can fire and reload with one hand. If you get shot, making one arm unusable, you’ll find that a semi-auto is very hard to load and put a shell in the chamber.
I’m in the market for a new revolver. It would be fun to have one that fired 9 mm or .40 bullets without moonclips, and Charter Arms has this nice 5 shot revolver chambered in .40 for $450. Although they’ve delayed the rollout, they should also be releasing a 9 mm in the next year [...]

The gun used by Malcom Reynolds in the Firefly series (and movie Serenity) is a modified Taurus 85 revolver. In the series, they call it a “Moses Brothers Self-Defense Engine”.
Bulgarian Makarov converted to fire 22 LR. The only thing that would make this more funky would be a silencer. Oh.
